Job Summary
The FSVP, Annuity Distribution will lead the strategic direction, growth and execution of annuity product sales with a specific focus on Brokerage IMO distributors and customers. This role will be responsible for driving annuity sales performance, managing key distribution relationships, and expanding market share through innovative sales strategies and strong leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall sales strategy for F&G Annuity products within the Brokerage (IMO) Channel.
- Oversee the identification and cultivation of new distribution opportunities and partnerships to grow sales volumes
- Partner with product, marketing, and actuarial teams to ensure sales strategies align with product development, pricing and customer needs
- Track, analyze, and report on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends to executive leadership
- Serve as key member of the Distribution Leadership Team
- Represent the company at industry events, key conferences, and with key stakeholders to elevate brand presence and thought leadership in the annuity space
- Assist in maintaining and developing our competitive and market intelligence; make recommendations and drive design, positioning and opportunity.
- Will take active role in partnering with operations and legal to assure positive field service experience.
- Effective contributions to product development by partnering with internal teams.
- Effective contributions to the overall product distribution strategy for F&G
Experience and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Masters or MBA in marketing or management is preferable.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the Annuity, Life or Financial Institutional business
- Minimum 10 years of sales, marketing and management experience.
- Industry designations of CLU, ChFC, CFP, MSM are desired
- Proven leadership ability
- Knowledgeable on the current status of insurance products, markets, distribution channels, retirement and savings plan, sales and marketing, information systems, client needs and regulatory matters.
- Extensive experience in outsource development, contracts and maintenance.
