Summary

You're a creative technologist who loves bringing beautiful and accessible experiences to life through semantic markup, client-side JavaScript, and mastery of Shopify. You enjoy collaborating with project managers, strategists, and designers to translate ideas into functional e-commerce solutions. You're comfortable with back-end API integrations, work efficiently in ticketing systems, and want to build best-in-class frontend solutions. You like working with emerging disruptive brands and can clearly communicate solutions to clients.


What You Will Do

You will develop, customize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus storefronts, writing clean and reusable code across Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will translate Figma designs into responsive and accessible experiences that reflect both brand and performance standards. You will integrate third-party APIs, apps, and back-end systems, ensuring functionality works smoothly across environments. You will troubleshoot front-end issues, optimize site speed and data handling, and ensure each build meets modern accessibility and performance expectations. You will manage your work through ticketing systems, communicate blockers clearly, and document all technical decisions so internal teams and clients stay aligned.


Requirements
  • At least three years of experience working with Shopify or Shopify Plus
  • Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and JSON
  • Experience translating Figma or similar design files into responsive, accessible builds
  • Ability to integrate APIs, third-party apps, and custom features within Shopify
  • Familiarity with Shopify APIs, metafields, objects, and webhooks
  • Experience working within Git-based workflows and documenting technical decisions
  • Strong understanding of accessibility, responsive design, and performance optimization
  • Ability to communicate clearly, manage timelines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Benefits

Pay starts at $30USD per hour
Up to 40 hours weekly
Role to begin Early Q1 2026

The selection process includes a video interview screening, followed by role-specific discussions and a final leadership conversation.
