The Role

We are seeking our first FP&A Manager to be the analytical backbone of our financial planning process, driving insight, clarity, and strategy across the business. You’ll work closely with leadership to forecast performance, guide resource allocation, and model the financial impact of key decisions—from hardware production and go-to-market strategy to content partnerships and platform growth. This is a high-visibility role that combines hands-on financial modeling with strategic partnership across sales, marketing, content, supply chain, operations, and the executive team.

What You'll Do
  • Execute the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Build dynamic financial models to support corporate finance, demand planning, product pricing, and supply chain decisions.
  • Partner with department heads to align financial goals with company strategy and develop comprehensive operating budgets.
  • Analyze key performance metrics (e.g., unit economics, customer acquisition costs, lifetime value) and recommend data-driven actions.
  • Provide scenario modeling for fundraising, M&A, or expansion opportunities.
  • Develop and optimize management reporting packages that surface insights to the executive team and investors.
  • Establish and improve financial systems, processes, and tools as the company scales.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, or corporate finance—ideally in consumer electronics, gaming, or hardware.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel / Google Sheets; experience with ERP systems and financial planning tools (e.g., Netsuite, Adaptive, Anaplan, etc.) preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and storytelling skills—you can turn complex data into actionable insight.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
  • Passion for gaming and emerging technology.
We Offer
  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Flexible working hours and vacation policy.
  • Product-driven culture that treasures talents and individual growth.
  • Front-row seat and hands-on experience with cutting edge technologies in the evolving gaming field

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
