We're looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Staff Accountant reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will work on a variety of financial procedures, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes, general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Help complete daily accounting activities, the month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries and supporting work papers for balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Independently verify, allocate and reconcile accounts and roll-forwards and maintain them
  • Help develop and document our processes and follow accounting policies to maintain internal controls
  • Perform monthly/quarterly balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analyses and provide explanation on variances
  • Provide support for annual external financial audits, including the preparation of audit schedules
  • Provide support for ad hoc requests
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP principles

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 or more years of progressive accounting experience
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience with financial statement analytics and trend analyses
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting system
  • Team-oriented

Desired Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Accounting
  • Licensure as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
