Job Summary
The Corporate Finance division oversees financial performance of the Aerospace Corporation. In this role, you will provide financial analysis of the people related costs including fringe benefits, retirement plan, 401K, direct and indirect labor rates and support internal and external customers as needed. The department environment is supportive, dynamic, interesting, and innovative.
What You’ll Be Doing
- You will support full-lifecycle financial, and end-to-end business support of bid and proposal, budgeting and forecasting, fringe benefits analysis, and projection
- You will participate in recurring financial business reviews
- You will support annual budget and forecast process managing demand signals and indirect rates
- You will support leadership on financial performance management, financial planning, and ad-hoc projects
- You will analyze and diagnose business drivers and variances to budget using various financial systems with focus on lessons learned & recommendations for Business Leadership actions
- You will communicate financial results effectively with useful visual narratives and concise storytelling
- You will develop financial projections using various methods and tools
- You will prepare and deliver necessary supporting analytics to assist leadership in decision making
- You will support business transformation & process reengineering efforts
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements level III:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- Typically, 4 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or relevant experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Experience with budgeting and financial planning
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
Minimum Requirements level IV:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- Typically, 6 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or relevant experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Experience with budgeting and financial planning
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
- Master’s degree from an accredited program in Accounting, Finance or MBA or CPA
- Experience within the US Government (Federal) practice of a professional services firm
- Experience with SAP, Hyperion Essbase/SmartView and Tableau preferred
- Experience with Federal contracting regulations (e.g. FAR, DFAR), rates (e.g. overhead, CAS-414, and fee)
- Experience with Payroll, Fringe & Benefits, developing direct and indirect labor rates
