As a Global Senior Financial Analyst, you will use your skills to:

  • Team closely with regional Center Leads, People & Operations Directors and Finance Leads to fully understand and report on DV economics world wide
  • Develop analytics to support strategic decisions and present recommendations to senior leadership spanning pricing, revenues, profitability, staffing capacity, billability (productivity), headcount, sales pipeline, demand and real estate and any other strategic challenges 
  • Coordinate with other DV offices to consolidate weekly forecasts and check against overall expectations
  • Support CFO and other senior leadership in producing monthly and annual presentation packages and communication materials for management use
  • Proposes modeling and proofs-of-concept as required and roll-out globally
  • Develop BO/BIR queries to support analysis
  • Restructure excel workbooks to work with new queries to improve reporting turnover, quality and analysis 
  • Identify and implement improvements to Commercial Finance processes to improve information quality, efficiency and responsiveness.

As a Global Financial Analyst, you will need:

  • Computer Skills:
  • Working knowledge of PC environment, Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Service Orientation:
  • Candidates must exhibit a high degree of service orientation in responding to all customer requests, both internal and external
  • Professional demeanor
  • Organization/Versatility/Time Management:
  • Must be able to organize, multi-task, and prioritize appropriately and meet tight deadlines
  • Must be able to achieve maximum time effectiveness, eliminating tasks that contribute the least to the goals of the team and office and concentrating on tasks that will most enhance the business
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • The ability to prioritize multiple tasks with long- and short-term response requirements
  • Communication Skills:
  • Must excel in effective and positive communications and responsiveness (both spoken and written ability), demonstrating confidence and clarity of thought
  • Teamwork:
  • Must be able to work well as part of a team, as well as on independent projects
  • Must focus on contribution to overall office goals and BCG DV team
  • Must exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to develop
  • Must be flexible to work overtime when needed
  • Achievement/Reliability:
  • Must demonstrate an ability to consistently and dependably achieve bottom-line results with regard to services provided to the office and the consulting staff 
  • Self-starting attitude, resourcefulness

As a Global Senior Financial Analyst, we are looking for someone with:

  • 5+ years experience as a Financial Analyst at a large corporation in a decision support role
  • Bachelors degree, preferably in Business, Finance, or related field 
  • MBA qualification preferred
  • Exceptional out of the box thinking and creative problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build excellent working relationships with senior stakeholders and with geographically dispersed teams 
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy
  • Prior experience working in a professional services environment 
  • Experience reviewing contracts is a nice to have 
  • Proficiency in Excel a must and working knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong organizational and process management skills combined with an ability to multi-task and priorities in a fast paced and demanding environment
  • SAP BO/BIR and Tableau experience strongly preferred
