GOAT is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Finance team on financial strategy, forecasting, planning, analysis, reporting, corporate development, and fundraising activities. In this role, your work will impact the company as a whole and help ensure that the company is making financially sound decisions. The ideal candidate will possess ability and knowledge across, not only finance but also, business strategy, analytics, and accounting.

In this role you will:

• Be a champion in defending the company’s financial health and profile
• Own, maintain, and improve on the company’s operating model
• Combine data and financial information to develop detailed revenue builds and analyze the company’s unit economics
• Drive analysis and modeling for new initiatives / projects and business lines
• Assist in developing and monitoring financial KPIs across the company
• Work collaboratively with other departments / business leaders to understand the impact of their operations on the company’s financial profile and to provide financial analytical support as necessary
• Assist in the daily, weekly, and monthly reporting processes as necessary
• Support corporate development opportunities and fundraising activities as necessary
• Create presentations to support analysis and recommendations
• Provide other ad-hoc support to the Finance team and company as necessary

We are looking for:

• 2-4 years finance experience in operation finance, corporate development or strategy, investment banking, and/or consulting
• Deep understanding of revenue drivers and KPIs of an ecommerce / marketplace / web / app tech company
• Master in Excel and PowerPoint
• SQL experience (or willingness to learn)
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, with a formidable attention to detail
• Healthy curiosity to understand all aspects of the business
• Ability to work collaboratively to drive cross-functional execution on business goals
• Elevated pride of ownership in work product
• Experience working in startups and/or the tech, ecommerce, marketplace, and/or retail industry
