Job Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A will assist with monthly financial reporting by performing system reconciliations and ad-hoc analysis. We are looking for an individual with high attention to detail who will identify and resolve data discrepancies and implement process improvements to ensure a smooth monthly close.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with preparation of monthly financial reports and analysis that drive business insights
- Support organizational leaders on ad hoc strategy and financial analysis
- Perform system reconciliations to assist with monthly close and ensure accuracy of revenue recognition
- Assist with ERP system integration by identifying and resolving data discrepancies
- Develop innovative solutions and help implement new processes necessary for ERP system
- Engage cross-functionally to develop collaborative solutions to business problems and strengthen integration of Finance with marketing, product, and operations organizations
What You’ll Need to Have:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field from a leading university
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably Big 4
- Adept, practical knowledge of GAAP accounting
- Ability to roll up your sleeves to get the job done and step back to think through strategic implications
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- An entrepreneurial spirit and comfortable with ambiguity
- A willingness to take on increasing amounts of responsibility rapidly as part of a fast-growing organization
- Demonstrated track record of impact in previous roles
- Personal integrity and sound business judgment
- An internal sense of urgency
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite; advanced Excel skills
Preferred:
- CPA
- Experience working at or serving a Fortune 50 company a plus, as is experience in the consumer space
- Experience implementing / upgrading financial, ERP, or other business systems
