Ring is looking for a skilled Sr. Corporate Accountant to join our rapidly growing team. We are seeking driven individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities – a self-starter who can work independently but who is also a good team-player. This role will receive direction from the corporate accounting manager but will need to be able to pick things up quickly and be able to meet deadlines with multiple tasks.

G/L Responsibilities

• Analyze and explain monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and variances
• Compile account information and prepare monthly journal entries
• Prepare and maintain monthly account reconciliations
• Establish formal GL closing and other accounting process procedures
• Assist with compiling year-end external audit requests
• Research important accounting issues and suggest the best practices and applications in accordance with accounting standards
• Assist accounting manager and controller with any adhoc research, clean-up, reporting projects
• Work with various departments to streamline data flow and processes

Cost Accounting Responsibilities

• Reconcile and analyze company's Retailer allowances against projected amounts
• Prepare OPEX / AP Accruals for month end. Analyze actuals to forecasted amounts to looks for potential variances
• Reconcile inter-company entries between the subsidiaries and the parent
• Apply transfer pricing policies on a number of inter-company transactions
• Work with international parties to load the financial statements of Ring’s subsidiaries
• Support new product line financial reporting
• Assist the corporate accounting manager in the analysis of month end & quarter end financial reporting

Basic Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Accounting
• 4+ years of experience as a G/L accountant in the manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of cost accounting experience is extremely helpful
• Dedicated and resourceful
• Able to work independently
• Advanced in MS-Excel (v-lookup, pivot table, sumif, sort, filter, etc.)
• Experience with systems implementation is a plus
