Senior Compliance Program Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Compliance Program Analyst to join Snap Inc! As a member of the Engineering Compliance team, you will use your understanding of business processes, technology, and audit requirements to drive compliance and process improvement initiatives. Working from our Los Angeles, CA office, you will collaborate with engineering, security, finance, and audit teams to support our compliance program. This will include designing, implementing and improving controls, drive automation of processes, and validation of control performance.
What you’ll do:
- Participate in the development and improvement of our internal controls environment
- Assist in scoping, designing, and implementing risk mitigation for new acquisitions and business units
- Support Snap’s compliance effort with different frameworks (eg. SOX) through close partnership with our Internal Audit team
- Support the evaluation of existing processes and tools in an effort to mitigate risk and reduce manual control burden through automation
- Work closely with engineering and product management to address audit recommendations
- Develop relationships, promote control awareness, and educate developers on adherence to best practices through training
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, computer science, management information systems, or other related financial/technology fields
- 3+ years of audit experience
Preferred qualifications:
- CISA designation preferred
- Experience in Google Cloud Platform, Netsuite, Salesforce, and Workday a plus
- Experience at an advertising technology company a plus
- Deep experience in SOX Compliance
- Proficient in business processes and IT general controls, application controls, IT infrastructure security, and how they intersect with financial transactions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to effectively interact with various levels of management, including functional department managers and directors
- Someone who thrives on building from the ground up and enjoys reaching for the highest performance standards
- Proactive and results-driven
- Ability to execute well and flourish in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
