Senior Accounting Manager

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager of Accounting to join our Accounting and Finance team! This individual will have the opportunity to greatly impact and improve processes within our fast-growing e-commerce business. Additionally, we are open to relocation for this role.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and assist with all aspects of the month-end G/L close process, including the review and supervision of 3+ team members
- Review month-end journal entries, supporting schedules and reconciliations
- Collaborate with the Finance team on monthly reporting and variance analysis
- Lead the implementation of new financial systems and/or processes
- Coordinate and lead the external audit process
- Assist in determining proper internal controls and segregation of duties
- Lead and support departmental and organizational strategic initiatives to support fast-paced growth
- Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting, performing research as needed
- Oversee proper and accurate classification of transactions across the balance sheet and income statement
- Perform ad-hoc projects as needed, including prepare/review schedules and support for accounting reporting
- Supervise and grow the GL accounting team as needed to scale
What you’ll bring:
- 7+ years of progressive Accounting/Finance experience at a large private or public company, including 2+ years of manager level experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP Accounting of all aspects of the financial statements
- Proven ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment, work across operational teams and prioritize the team’s tasks
- Previous Supervisory or Management experience
- Experience and knowledge of ERP systems implementations and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to think critically and research ad-hoc accounting or operational issues
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing to all levels of the organization, including senior executive team
- Leadership to effectively lead and develop a team of 3+ employees
- BS/BA degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent field
- CPA is required

- Experience with Looker, or other BI systems
- Experience with working with data science and BI teams to build reports
- International accounting and multi-entity accounting, including elimination, consolidation, and foreign exchange
- Implementation of a cloud based software-Blackline
