We are seeking a high-energy, self-starting, patient individual to join our team as a Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate may work remotely but should expect to be in the office on a regular basis especially as we transition back to normal office life in the future.

Who We Are:

Convoso is a provider of omnichannel contact center software which dramatically increases customers' contact and lead conversion rates. We back the power of our advanced dialer with the human touch of a dedicated product expert. This invaluable combination delivers higher conversions with less outreach.

What You Will Do:

  • Adept in merchant account reconciliation, ensuring sales accurately reflect statements.
  • Ensure timely payment of all accounts payable, ACH, and checks as needed.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations, coding transactions.
  • Bi-weekly reconciliation of payroll / benefits.
  • Prepare and maintain various accounts, financial reporting, and reporting system infrastructure for smooth month close processes.
  • Scan for, identify, report, resolve any accounting discrepancies.
  • Manage the quality control of our standard accounting processes.
  • Recommend, test and implement changes to future proof our standard accounting processes as we grow.
  • Support day-to-day and month-end responsibilities of the finance department.
  • Prepare financial documents to provide to CPAs.
  • Interact with other departments to obtain needed information to properly record accrued rebates and sales discounts.
  • Collaborate at our office in Woodland Hills, CA with our teams 2-3 days per week.

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of experience in Accounting.
  • Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets, creating pivot tables, utilizing various functions (index/match, sumifs., etc.)
  • Proven ability to analyze YoY, MoM, accounting data trends.
  • Ability to apply advanced accounting principles.
  • Quick-witted mind and an excel sheet whisperer.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
  • Experience with Zuora is a major plus.
