Job Description

Centerfield is seeking a Senior Accountant responsible for providing accounting support within Centerfield’s Finance Department. We are looking for a pro-active, self-directed person who can manage the daily activities of the accounting function. You will ensure files are complete and maintained as needed, contribute to the monthly/quarterly/annual close, and assist other accounting personnel. Additional responsibilities include:

• Work alongside colleagues in the Finance, Payroll, and HR team to ensure accurate GAAP reporting of compensation expense
• Manage Daily Cash, Accounts Receiveable and Accounts Payable Functions
• Monthly reconciliation of Financial Statement accounts
• Enter and send customer invoices based on internal reports
• Provide support for the annual audit of financial statements and tax reporting
• Compile internal KPI reporting to management
• Match and organize received invoices to internal reports
• Process received invoices for payment
• Manage a weekly check run from processing to mailing
• Maintain and organize all vendor files
• Receive payments and process deposits
• Contact and collect delinquent accounts
• Research, track and resolve any accounting problems
• Compile data and prepare a variety of reports
• Maintain and organize accounting files and agreements

Skills/Attributes Required

• 3-5 years of relative working experience
• Accounting/bookkeeping knowledge required
• Experience working with Financial Reporting tools
• Familiarity with GAAP accounting and bookkeeping procedures
• Well organized with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Big 4 experience and CPA is a plus
