Appetize Technologies, Inc., is seeking a vibrant and enthusiastic professional to join our team as a Senior Accountant. This position will assist with the month end close, the coordination of the order to collection and inventory procure to pay process and the annual audit. The ideal candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced and professional work environment, one that demands excellent problem-solving, organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare month end close entries and accounting adjustments
• Prepare month end close account reconciliations
• Coordinate the approval of monthly corporate card charges
• Annual audit support
• Coordinate order to cash process and the inventory procure to pay process
• Coordinate the application of accounting standards for Revenue/COGS recognition
• Prepare weekly bank reconciliations
• Reports to the Accounting Manager
• Other ad-hoc accounting projects

 
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred)
• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Salesforce, NetSuite and Docusign experience preferred
• Experience with inventory and multiple element arrangements
• Invoicing and revenue experience
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience in a Start-up environment
• Strong attention to detail and high level of professionalism
