UMG is currently seeking to fill the role of Royalty Analyst. In this role, you will be assisting our International Royalty Department in preparing & analyzing royalty statements.
Job Functions:
Set up domestic releases in accordance with Inter Company License AgreementPrepare and submit requested data per daily inquiries in a timely mannerAnalyze monthly Top Seller reports for Month-EndCreate Royalty Reports for processing quarterly salesLiaise with Royalty teams in foreign countriesUpload entries into SAPProcess sales from licensee royalty statementsAssist manager with Audit & Litigation researchOther projects and duties as assigned

Experience:
Preferably 2 years of experience in Royalty accounting or related areaIn depth knowledge of Microsoft ExcelAble to work with large data sets. Microsoft Access knowledge a plusFamiliarity with TRACS a plusFamiliarity with royalty contracts and royalty calculationsMusic Industry knowledge a plus
Education:
- 4-year college degree preferably in Music Business, Accounting or minimum of 14 units of Accounting required
