Job Description

We are looking for a talented Payroll Specialist to join our team! This person will work closely with the Finance and Human Resources teams. We are looking for a pro-active, self-directed person who can manage the daily activities of the payroll and payables functions. You will collaborate with Sales, Finance and Revenue Operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Process semi-monthly and hourly payroll for all of US
• Maintain payroll deductions, deferrals, and withholdings for all US employees
• Work with accounting to ensure payroll journal entries are completed accurately
• Resolve exceptions accurately and timely
• Participate in payroll audits
• Compile reports on an ad-hoc basis
• Continuous evaluation of all payroll processes for realizing maximum efficiencies
• Actively participate in payroll system projects and upgrades
• Ensure HR and payroll records remain in sync
• Manage year-end W-2, ACA and 1099 reporting
• Process vendor invoices, including obtaining approvals and posting to appropriate GL accounts and assisting in processing payments on a timely basis
• Onboard new vendors and maintain existing vendor files
• Reconcile AP ledger to ensure all payments are properly posted

Requirements

• Fundamental Payroll Certification/Certified Payroll Professional certification preferred
• 2 years of experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Experience working with basic accounting and bookkeeping procedures
• Strong excel and Microsoft products experience
• High attention to detail and extremely well organized
