About the Position

Reporting to the Manager of Order Processing and Billing in the finance and accounting group, the Order Processing & Billing Specialist will play an integral role in processing increasingly complex sales orders to ensure they conform to company policy and safeguarding the sales order data which will be entered into our financial system of record, Netsuite. The ideal candidate for this role is analytical, a fast learner and has an attention to detail.

Specific duties will include:

• Review all incoming orders, verify that orders are complete and conform to company policy
• Interact with the Legal and Sales departments to ensure sales orders are complete and accurate
• Troubleshoot problematic orders and work with stakeholders until all order issues have been resolved
• Process orders in both our financial system of record, Netsuite, and our CRM system, Salesforce
• Develop subject matter expertise in order processing and provide recommendations on how to streamline and improve processes
• Work on Ad Hoc projects as requested by management

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Order Processing, Order Administration, or Billing.
• Strong mathematical skills
• Familiarity with accounting concepts
• Ability to maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced, team environment while managing multiple competing priorities
• Self-starter with ability to take initiative and strive under limited supervision
• Good business sense; excellent communication skills; computer savvy with excellent knowledge of Excel and Word
• Detail oriented
• Experience in Netsuite or Salesforce would be a plus
• Familiarity with auditing rules a plus
• Undergraduate degree in a related field is a plus.
