Our patented 2-Piece Rug System has a removable top layer that can be washed in a home washing machine, offering a stylish and convenient solution for families, pet owners, and busy individuals. As an Operations Strategy Manager, you will have the opportunity to work in multiple capacities within Ruggable’s Operations, help identify and solve important business problems, and oversee a range of initiatives. The Operations Strategy Manager will be a data-driven thinker who is comfortable identifying opportunities for improvement, thinking strategically and acting tactically, and unafraid to take the lead or push the current thinking of the team.
What You’ll Do
- Help shape our operations and accelerate our growth for the future
- Develop strategic insights and actionable recommendations for leadership and operators, whether it’s to refine existing operations or to launch new products
- Perform a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses
- Partner with senior stakeholders and teams across Ruggable to test new approaches, measure impact, and continue to improve our productivity, quality, and safety
- Drive implementation and be accountable for the success of strategic initiatives
- Be a thought leader on operations and ways to continuously improve how we work
What We’re Looking For
Strong candidates will have robust business acumen, desire to gather data and insights when considering new opportunities, and a natural ability to lead teams and drive impact. Candidates with previous strategy consulting or banking experience, and those with MBAs, will excel at this role.
Specific Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, engineering, mathematics, or related analytical field. MBA or similar advanced degree a plus
- 2-3 years of experience working in strategy, consulting, banking, finance, technology, or in high-growth operations or startup roles
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets; experience with SQL a plus
- Proficiency with visualization tools such as Looker and Tableau
- Strong critical thinking skills and a strategic approach to problem-solving
- A data-driven mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to create compelling presentations for stakeholders
- A hunger to learn and grow professionally as we rapidly scale the company
- A “Can Do” attitude that is highly collaborative and brings others into an effort
- The ability to breakdown and communicate problems and solutions to stakeholders
- Desire to give and receive constructive feedback on a regular basis
