Service Titan is seeking exceptional IT Manager that has experience with Workday Financials to join one of the fastest-growing tech startups in Southern California, backed by the best VC firms in the SaaS space. 

This position joins the Enterprise Application Systems team working closely with the Workday implementation team and Business stakeholders in driving best practices in implementation and support workday financials.

The incumbent will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, developing, and implementing system solutions and setting up governance in meeting business needs. Act as subject matter expert on the Workday Financials to drive business stakeholders towards using best practices in providing solutions. The position acts as a liaison between the Finance stakeholders and Workday platform IT resources. 

What you'll do:

• Serve as a subject matter expert on the Workday Financial module and actively participate in the design, planning, implementation, and support.

• Demonstrate expertise and ownership for the configuration, enhancement, maintenance, and testing of the Workday system for the Finance module.

• Able to articulate with the core implementation team and stakeholders in implementation, and configuration of all areas of the Workday Financials module.

• Implementation of Workday functionality including Business Processes around Financial Accounting, Suppliers, Business Assets, Banking, Expenses, Billing, contracts, and revenue management.

• Working with the Salesforce team in supporting integration between Salesforce and workday financials to accurately capture revenue. 

• Create Workday reports, including Standard, Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports.

• Manage day-to-day system/operations issues and set priorities for resolution.

• Provide subject matter expertise on key business processes driving towards decisions and recommending best practices related to Workday Finance functionality.

• Collaborate with the Workday platform and integration team for tenant strategy, upgrade, release and support to resolve issues.

• Helping to drive platform optimization / new functionality adoption analysis.

• Lead through process excellence and demonstrate effective project management skills for complex projects as well as anticipate likely risks and implement mitigation plans

• Identify alternatives based on best practices and application functionality.

• Anticipate and identify issues and develop program recommendations and courses of action which are consistent with business objectives and functional requirements

• Resolve system escalations and troubleshooting for power users.

What you'll bring:

• 5 years of ERP experience with 2-3 years working on the Workday Financial module.

• Strong end-to-end implementation experience with Financial Information Systems required and experience in leading data conversion from legacy system to Workday. 

• Experience working as a product manager in finance processes, or similar, in a high-performing, cross-functional team in a fast-changing environment.

• Intermediate/Advance Knowledge of US GAAP Accounting practices and principles 

• Experience as a functional lead in at least 3 areas: FDM, General Ledger, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, contracts, Billing, and revenue recognition.

• Knowledge/experience in integration with Salesforce on CPQ /Billing with Workday Financials.

• Relevant Workday certifications, such as Workday Financials preferred.

• Experience developing, managing, and coaching teams and driving process transformation

• Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions execution desired.

• Exposure to Workday and Salesforce integration is a plus.

• Advanced Project Management experience and/or experience across a variety of methodologies (e.g. waterfall, agile, SCRUM, Kanban, etc.)

• Highly flexible, ability to execute well in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization.
