International Markets, Lead (Strategy & Operations)
We’re looking for a Strategy Lead to join Team Snap! As a member of the International Markets team, you will be a part of a newly formed, highly visible and strategic team working on growing Snapchat’s community of users in key international markets around the world. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you’ll analyze Snap’s opportunity in key markets, build financial models to evaluate global opportunities, lead structured analysis of complex business problems in order to make informed decisions on key strategic growth initiatives in new markets, and present regular updates on key metrics and trends in international markets.
What you’ll do:
Build sophisticated financial models on prospective global partnerships and lead data analytics for the team
Develop models, dashboards, and presentations to provide strategic and analytical insights to senior stakeholders
Research and identify global trends and key business drivers, translating data into actionable insights
Produce presentations and reports on global market opportunities
Support in-market teams on partnerships, activations, and KPI monitoring
Minimum qualifications:
- 2-4 years working in an investment banking, corporate development, private equity/venture capital, or principal investing role at a top-tier firm
BA/BS in finance or related quantitative discipline
Preferred qualifications:
Extensive financial modeling experience, both quantitative and qualitative analyses that translates large sums of data into presentable and actionable insights
Experience working in data analysis and/or insight delivery with a proven record of creating business value from data
Experience producing high-quality presentations and written documents
Extraordinary analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated intellectual & analytical rigor, with high attention to detail
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues in a clear, concise and impactful way – turning research & hard numbers into compelling stories and useful strategic insights to a variety of stakeholders
Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of a company
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Experience in data science and analytics is strongly preferred, particularly knowledge of Looker, SQL, and Tableau
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail while delivering against tight deadlines
Experience living or working internationally for 6 months or more
Fluency in one foreign language is a plus
Strong interest in technology, social media, and international affairs
