Head of financial strategy, planning, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the accurate reporting of company financials

• Develop financial forecasts

• Cash flow management and banking reconciliation

• Build key relationships with our customers and vendors / partners

• Review and create team budgets

• Review customer credit terms applications and systems

• Oversee vendor credit applications and systems for scale

• Manage inventory assets and customer equipment (tooling)

• Work with engineering team to build out financial systems, efficiencies and our custom ERP

• Set company financial goals and detailed approach on how to achieve them

• Lead the organization of all financial documents and how they’re incorporated into our web platform

• Manage multi state tax laws and compliance

• Manage a small team of 2 (Accounting Associate and Intern) and prepare for growth.

• Ensure that AR / AP are being done correctly and efficiently  

• Manage company stock / options

• Analyze materials trends of COGS and the potential economic impact to product margins

• Review legal documents and partnership agreements to identify financial impacts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA or CPA preferred

• 7+ years professional work experience in financial analyst or management role

• Experience in manufacturing is preferred, global manufacturing is a plus

• Strong executive leadership skills with experience in growing and leading a high performance team of finance professionals.

• Extremely hands-on and comfortable working in the fast paced environment of a startup

• Creative problem solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution

• Advanced skills in Excel & PowerPoint
