Head of financial strategy, planning, and reporting.
Responsibilities
Manage the accurate reporting of company financials
Develop financial forecasts
Cash flow management and banking reconciliation
Build key relationships with our customers and vendors / partners
Review and create team budgets
Review customer credit terms applications and systems
Oversee vendor credit applications and systems for scale
Manage inventory assets and customer equipment (tooling)
Work with engineering team to build out financial systems, efficiencies and our custom ERP
Set company financial goals and detailed approach on how to achieve them
Lead the organization of all financial documents and how they’re incorporated into our web platform
Manage multi state tax laws and compliance
Manage a small team of 2 (Accounting Associate and Intern) and prepare for growth.
Ensure that AR / AP are being done correctly and efficiently
Manage company stock / options
Analyze materials trends of COGS and the potential economic impact to product margins
Review legal documents and partnership agreements to identify financial impacts
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA or CPA preferred
7+ years professional work experience in financial analyst or management role
Experience in manufacturing is preferred, global manufacturing is a plus
Strong executive leadership skills with experience in growing and leading a high performance team of finance professionals.
Extremely hands-on and comfortable working in the fast paced environment of a startup
Creative problem solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution
Advanced skills in Excel & PowerPoint
