AirMap is hiring for an FP&A Senior Analyst to join our Santa Monica team. In this role, you will work closely with the leadership team on maintaining and attaining key metrics, strategic plans and initiatives to optimize the existing business, and leading special projects driving towards continuing and accelerating the company’s growth trajectory. You will be responsible for collaborating to develop and enable the success of key strategic initiatives, as well as managing cross-business-unit strategic opportunities to help the company realize its full potential. The ideal candidate will also be helping individual departments execute by understanding key metrics, and keeping tabs on the performance of cross-functional initiatives, as well as basic financial functions. You’ll be delivering insights and understanding to help the leadership team set product strategy, scale customers, manage to value adding metrics, & build a rapidly growing business. You’re very analytical, can jump in proactively, and fill in gaps within our lean operation.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Support the leadership team in driving the development of strategic plans, planning, budgeting, and analyzing financial results, and understanding the success and performance levers for each
- Engage with teams across the organization to model and track performance of
- Help understand performance of the business and develop forward-looking models.
- Help build the annual operating plan and update forecasts throughout the year
- Build and maintain sales/booking forecasts
- Construct presentations and analyses for management, investors, potential investors, and board
- Perform industry & market research to inform product and marketing direction
- Identify Key Performance Indicators, monitor performance, and drive corrective actions
- Interact and communicate with various levels in the organization from individual contributors to leadership
Key Job Qualifications
- A top-tier professional background in management consulting, venture capital, investment banking, or corporate strategy (3-5 years).
- Outstanding individual and team performer with excellent track record of driving success
- A self-starting attitude: You work independently and effectively, with little oversight or management
- Experience with early-stage startups is a huge plus
- Ability to manipulate, analyze, and pull insights from large sets of data
- Experience with Netsuite, Oracle Planning & Budgeting, Salesforce, and Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- An MBA or JD from a top-tier school (or an undergraduate degree from a top-tier school with equivalent work experience at a top-tier consulting firm, financial institution, or equivalent)
