Job Summary
The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Financial Systems Specialist, experienced in ERP systems and enterprise-wide business process analysis and design.
The Financial Systems team's mission is to plan, implement, and maintain system solutions for the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. To accomplish our mission, we identify opportunities to modernize and maintain various systems, respond effectively to the changing needs of the organization, and reduce and eliminate inefficiencies in our business processes.
As a Financial Systems Specialist, you'll collaborate closely with our internal customers and Enterprise Information Services partners to identify and prioritize system requirements, redesign workflows, and manage projects to their successful completion.
What You'll Be Doing
The Financial Systems Specialist develops, enhances, designs, analyzes, and monitors automated business systems and processes for internal customers in Finance, Payroll, and Supply Chain Operations. Primary duties, responsibilities and activities of this role include:
- Providing a wide range of technical and financial consulting relating to integrated business systems
- Assessing user needs and the ability of current business systems to meet those needs
- Troubleshooting and resolving functional business systems issues
- Supporting existing and future business systems, including enhancements and replacements; representing and supporting organizations in the selection and implementation of business systems and projects
- Automating manual business systems; recommending simplification and streamlining of business systems and procedures; utilizing integrated systems resources to enhance current business practices
- Performing special analyses, research, and assignments related to business systems and making recommendations based on findings
- Developing and maintaining systems to track financial and business performance.
- Assisting and training business system users on system analysis and reporting capabilities; preparing and presenting briefings relating to new and enhanced system capabilities

What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:
- 10 or more years of relevant experience with Bachelor's Degree, or 8 or more years of relevant experience with Master's Degree
- Experience with ERP business information system improvement best practices, standards and methodologies
- Experience producing clear, concise, well-thought out system and process documentation, presentations to customers and partners, and other communications and deliverables
- Must possess strong organizational skills with an ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and projects at one time
- Customer service orientation and effective interpersonal and teamwork skills to coordinate efforts and work with other internal and external organizations
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing organizational needs
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

- Deep knowledge of SAP transactions, tables and testing/troubleshooting techniques
- SAP security experience
