Financial Analyst
We’re looking for a Revenue Strategy Senior Analyst to join Snap Inc! Our goal as team Revenue Strategy is to provide accurate and thoughtful analyses and insights for a dynamic, growing advertising business. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you will partner closely with Sales Leadership, Finance, and various Operational teams to expand and optimize our Ad Sales modeling, analytics, and reporting efforts as well as broader cross-functional projects.
What you'll do:
Develop relevant financial reporting, analysis, insights, and recommendations
Contributing to quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning processes
Lead cross-functional projects with Sales, Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Product teams
Guide development of infrastructure to support streamlining and automation of workflows
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly advertising performance and forecast support
Provide weekly ad pacing reports for visibility on actuals vs. forecasts
Create post-monthly variance analysis to identify ad revenue performance
Develop various ad hoc analyses and PowerPoint presentations for the Board and executive teams
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, or related
5+ years of work experience in media/entertainment or finance
Preferred qualifications:
Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and Excel skills
Someone who is self-directed, proactive, and sets a high bar for themselves and their work
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and feels comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization
Able to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
Can multi-task, think creatively, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
A detail-oriented person who has a high sense of urgency and exceptional organizational/project managing skills
