LegalZoom.com is seeking a Finance Manager to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. The highly visible position will have the responsibility of managing and reporting on a wide range of data, at the global consolidation level. We are looking for a highly - motivated self -starter who is analytical, independent and critical thinker, loves data, strong communicator, loves working in excel and financial planning applications and tools. We need someone dynamic enough to learn and support a variety of business functions. 
 

What you’ll do 

• Global consolidation and analyze financial data for comparative P&L variance analysis taking into account company goals and financial standing
• Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports and presentations on financial status, opportunities, and risks
• Deliver timely, accurate, and effective analyses and reporting of financial metrics
• Conduct benchmarking, pro forma P&L, and scenario analyses
• Develop insightful presentations that summarize data and help facilitate decision-making for our business partners as well as senior leadership team
• Gain and update business knowledge to remain informed about nuances within operations to support business partners
• Manage and train direct reports to foster growth and encourage them be top performers
• Support Business Strategy Advisors to help streamline forecast process and submissions with building dashboards and providing constructive feedback
• Key Financial Systems Administrator to manage access to the multiple models in the LegalZoom Consolidation and LegalZoom model workspaces (roles, reporting and content access)
• Participate in Finance initiatives to develop and implement global, revenue, and cost model improvements with automation and for forecasting accuracy

• Quantitative, with strong attention to detail and high degree of comfort with large data volumes
• Ability to thrive in a fast - paced, entrepreneurial environment with highly motivated team members
• Strong work ethic with ability to perform in a self – managed environment; must be good at multi – tasking
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, or relevant field
• 5 to 7 years of experience working in finance and/or accounting

 
Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with Anaplan application preferred or relevant systems experience
• Strong ability to analyze and integrate multiple data sources into decision format, identify issues & trend in data, identify issues/opportunities, and implement solutions
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP
• MBA or CPA is strongly preferred
