As our Finance Associate, you will work directly with the VP of Finance on a wide range of corporate finance, strategic finance and corporate strategy-related tasks that touch all aspects of the business, as well as external stakeholders such as investors, banks and partners. You will also collaborate directly with senior leadership at the company and manage critical cross-departmental projects and initiatives within the Finance organization.

You are someone as comfortable working with key stakeholders and investors as individual contributors, with a keen eye for risk, reward, and how each part of our business affects our overall success.

What You'll Do

• Be a strategic partner to the VP of Finance and the broader leadership team
• Support and improve ongoing financial planning activities through analytics, research, and stakeholder input
• Analyze industry, market and financial trends to help form the strategic direction of the company
• Partner with key stakeholders throughout the organization to create financial visibility and ROI based decision making
• Work on building/expanding financial and operational analytics and reporting capabilities that provide the leadership team and Board of Directors insights to inform the right business decisions
• Assist with the preparation of Board and Investor Relations materials
• Assist with operating cadence including recurring business reviews, quarterly planning and annual reporting
• Assist with all aspects of fundraising

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience from a top-tier investment bank, preferably in the technology world 
• Highly organized and demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder expectations while working on multiple projects concurrently
• Ability to understand and analyze the levers that drive a company’s long-term financial trajectory
• Strong business acumen and ability to solve problems creatively by making sound commercial judgements
• Ability to effectively identify and articulate implications up and downstream
• Ability to communicate effectively and create engaging and informative documents, with actionable synthesis and recommendations
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work and build relationships with a wide range of people both internally and externally
• Natural self-starter with strong work ethic and eagerness to produce high quality results
• Team-first attitude that enables you to easily and effectively work with multiple cross-functional teams
