Director, Investor Relations
Reporting to the CFO, the Head of Investor Relations will have overall responsibility for the development and implementation of investor relation strategies and policies as well as relationships between the company and its shareholders, the investing public, and other members of the financial community, including analysts and institutional investors. The Head of Investor Relations will direct the company's interaction and communication with existing and potential shareholders.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the strategic planning and ongoing development of investor relations activities within the investment community.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and potential shareholders, including institutional investors, individual investors, sell-side analysts, and exchange representatives.
- Ensure that market communication, as part of the financial reporting cycle or ad hoc communications are clear, consistent, and correct, and meet all deadlines.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance relationships with stakeholders in the investment community.
- Serve as an advisor to the CFO and executive leadership on issues involving the public distribution of financial information.
- Lead the analyst consensus process and manage market expectations in an appropriate way.
- Develop strategies to communicate key messages to the investment community and shareholders regarding financial performance and business strategy.
- Plan, execute, and manage a proactive investor relations strategy, program, and narrative, including managing various key investor events, investor conferences, and shareholder meetings.
- Manage quarterly earnings calls; write earnings releases, conference call scripts, and Q&A materials.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual and quarterly reports, and other filings.
- Organize investor roadshows and optimize management time through investor targeting.
- Gather, monitor, and report on marketplace intelligence and inform, educate. and advise the leadership team about financial and industry trends, shareholder concerns, and competitor actions.
- Convey feedback from the investment community to the leadership team.
- Manage and monitor investment research on the company and industry peers; maintain and communicate competitive intelligence and analysis on industry peers to senior management.
- Provide on-going information regarding competitive intelligence of our markets, analyst positions and analysis relative to stock movements, positions, and periodic ownership analysis.
- Maintain oversight of the investor relations portion of the company's website.
- Other investor relations activities as appropriate.

- Understanding of SEC regulations and securities disclosure requirements
- Proficiency in converting complex financial information into understandable text
- Strong attention to detail
- Intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, and an adaptive mindset
- BA/BS degree in Finance or Economics required, Master’s degree(s) or MBA preferred.
- CFA a plus
- Minimum ten years’ experience in investor relations or research/sell-side analysis
