About the Role
RingDNA is searching for an experienced and driven Controller to help us lead our accounting function. The ideal candidate for this role has 7-10 years of accounting experience with Big 4 audit experience and at least 3 years running a corporate accounting function. We are looking for a motivated team player with a high attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex information and communicate in a simplified, concise manner.
What You’ll Do
- Ownership of financial close and reporting cycles ensuring accurateness and timeliness.
- Oversight of all technical accounting interpretations and related documentation.
- Ensure global compliance with all financial, tax and other required regulatory filings.
- Manage relationships with auditors and outside technical advisors.
- Responsible for end-to-end systems data flows and design and documentation of related controls environments.
- Be a trusted advisor to the CFO & CEO; proactively collaborate, influence, and align the company’s accounting policies with the overall company strategy.
- Partner with multiple internal organizations to drive process and systematic improvements including data collection and reporting streams across the organization.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 10+ years of combined accounting experience including Big 4 assurance experience and at least 3 years running a corporate accounting team.
- Experience in both public and private company environments
- Proven record of mentoring and developing teams
- Manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Prior experience in a high tech/software/SaaS
- Practical experience adopting ASC606 standard
- Work at our Sherman Oaks Headquarters
