SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for compiling and reviewing budgets using actual performance, previous budget figures, awarded price proposals, and other data sources and provide for proper financial administration. Prepares regular and ad-hoc reports, analyzes trends and estimates to complete, prepares comparative evaluation of actual costs against budgeted funds, and determines rationale for variances between costs and budget.

KEY FUNCTIONS
- Compiles budgets, reports and analyses for external customers based upon contractual requirements.
- Analyzes monthly, fiscal year, and inception-to-date cost and fee performance against budget, estimate to complete, funding and contract value.
- Provides a wide array of ad hoc financial analyses and reports upon request and communicates results.
- Enhances financial models for use in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
REQUIRED II:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Typically 3 years of progressively increasing responsibility in financial reporting/budgeting
- Experience in applying general accounting principles
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications including Excel
- Experience in SAP and Business Warehouse
REQUIRED III:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Typically 6 years of progressively increasing responsibility in financial reporting/budgeting
- Experience in applying general accounting principles
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications including Excel
- Experience in SAP and Business Warehouse
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Intermediate/advanced Excel and Macros skills
- Must work well in a team environment
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to prioritize tasks and projects
- Must possess strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and projects at one time
- Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other internal and external organizations

- Must possess time management and project management skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENTS
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to use a computer to complete assignments.
- Ability to communicate with individuals and groups in person, by phone and telepresence.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will typically work in an office environment.
