The Opportunity...
We are looking to fill an Accounts Payable Specialist position on our team. This person will be responsible for completing the end-to-end accounts payable process in a timely, efficient, and detailed manner. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and organizational skills and who wants to grow their career with a rapidly growing company.
How You'll Contribute...
- Maintain and organize all vendor records
- Process and enter monthly credit card statements
- Receive and enter all vendor invoices and credit memos across several entities
- Work with company personnel to ensure expenditures are authorized for payment and properly documented
- Manage a weekly check run from processing to mailing
- Research, track, and resolve any accounts payable issues
- Prepare IRS Form 1099 for all eligible vendors and other required YE filings
- Maintain and organize accounting files and agreements
- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
- Assist Controller and CFO with annual financial audit
- Ad-hoc projects, reporting and account reconciliations, and other assignments as needed to support the Finance team
What We're Looking For...
- 1-3 years of accounting/bookkeeping knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Familiarity with basic accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- Solid problem-solving and time management skills
- High attention to detail and extremely well organized
