About This Role:
We are looking to grow our small finance / accounting team with a hard-working and experienced individual who wants to perfect our expense reporting processes. This position is integral to the growth of our organization and requires a versatile, self-directed, and hands-on professional with attention to detail. You will work to ensure AP best practices are met while upholding and maintaining related company policies and procedures.
What You’ll Do:
Assist in the implementation of new purchasing processes with minimal impact to business operations
Support corporate card administration
Review all expense reports for coding accuracy and receipts according to T&E policies and procedures
Prepare documentation for external auditors
Ad hoc financial analysis and reporting in support of executives
Respond in a timely manner to internal and vendor inquiries
Continuous improvement of business processes to ensure more accurate and timely collection of AP data
Work with all departments to ensure invoices and expense reports coded accurately, submitted and approved in a timely manner according to established policies and procedures
Who You Are:
Solid understanding of accounting concepts and GAAP principles
Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel – formulas, pivot tables, etc.
Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and a strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Extremely organized and autonomous
