Accounts Payable Manager
We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to join Snap, Inc.! Working closely with the Accounting team, you will handle a wide range of procure to pay, travel and entertainment and bookkeeping activity. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you’ll collaborate with other Accounting team members to synthesize large amounts of data and tell the story behind the numbers.
What you’ll do:
Assist in developing more robust AP, expense, and purchasing procedures
Ownership of Vendor master files, including creation, vendor updates, and system/process upgrades, as well as annual reporting
Manage P2P system as administrator, including managing errors and improving functionality
Delivery and review monthly T&E reporting and make adjustments as needed
Provide support and serve as backup in purchasing operations
Support corporate card administration
Review all invoices prior to payment
Assist in month end closing
Create and maintain all Accounts Payable and Expense desktop procedures
Manage company intranet site for AP, Expense and Purchasing
Provide support for internal and external audit
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
Assist Sr. AP Manager in implementation of policies and procedures, and other projects as needed
Lead training for staff and Snap employees where applicable
Serve as a mentor to junior staff
Work closely and effectively with other departments within Snap to identify solutions and support new business opportunities
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years Accounts Payable experience
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems, procedures, and financial account charts
Knowledge of accounting RP software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficient in Excel and Word
Able to work independently and with a team in a fast paced, high volume environment with competing priorities
Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills to interact with employees and vendors in a professional, confidential manner
Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing
NetSuite experience
Experience with Concur or other T&E system
Experience with Coupa a plus
Full cycle PTP
