The Accounting Manager is a member of the TeleSign HQ Accounting team, supporting the management of accounts payable, month-end close, and assisting with financial reporting and other critical accounting projects that help drive TeleSign’s growth.

This job reports to the Director of Accounting and is based in Marina del Rey, CA. 

What you will do:

• Hands-on involvement and integral contributor to the full cycle accounting process including journal entries, month-end close, and financial reporting
• Complete and review account reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
• Maintain financial schedules and ledgers in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Accurate, appropriate recording and analysis of expenses; assist in the review of invoices and coding in Concur, manage employee expense reimbursement process
• Serve as key player in the financial audit process for multiple subsidiaries
• Provide mentoring, coaching and supervision to TeleSign’s accounting department
• Ensure proper adherence of internal controls to maintain the integrity over financial reporting; assist in identifying and implementing additional controls
• Support annual compliance with all federal, state, payroll, and other applicable taxes and regulations
• Assist in the development and improvement of accounting processes, as well as compliance with new accounting standards
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests, as necessary

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 5+ years relevant accounting experience
• Public accounting experience preferred
• CPA license
• Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
• Knowledge of auditing practices and principles
• Experience with NetSuite and Concur a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, complex projects and meet deadlines
• Strong computer skills, including experience in ERP accounting and AP software, advanced Excel user
• Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be flexible, have a positive attitude, be willing to learn new things and train others as needed
• Outgoing personality and ability to establish rapport and work efficiently with different business stakeholders
