Scope:

We are seeking high-potential undergraduate and graduate students to join our Finance Internship Program — a structured, cohort-based summer experience embedded within our corporate Finance organization. Interns will contribute to real deliverables across core finance functions while developing critical digital skills in automation, data analytics, and artificial intelligence. This program is designed for future finance leaders who are equally comfortable with financial analysis and technology-driven problem solving in a complex, government-contract-intensive environment.

Scope of Work & Functional Assignments

Interns will be placed in one or more of the following functional areas based on academic background, business need, and career interest:

Financial Planning & Analysis
Budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning; monthly/quarterly variance analysis; executive dashboard development; AI-assisted scenario modeling and predictive analytics.

Financial Reporting
U.S. GAAP financial statement preparation and review; month-end/quarter-end close support; SEC reporting exposure; automated reconciliation workflows and anomaly detection tools.

Shared Services
AP/AR, general ledger, and transactional finance operations; process improvement and SOP documentation; automation of manual workflows; cross-functional collaboration with Procurement and HR.

Internal Audit
Risk-based audit engagements; SOX ICFR control testing and workpaper documentation; ERM framework exposure; full-population data analysis; AI-driven continuous monitoring techniques.

Tax
Federal, state, and international tax compliance; ASC 740 tax provision; R&D credits and government contracting tax incentives; automated data extraction and regulatory research using AI tools.

Automation, Efficiency & AI Integration
Across all functional areas, interns are expected to apply and develop skills in the following digital finance tools and technologies — central to our Finance Digital Transformation initiative: Alteryx, Tableau, Artificial Intelligence & Automation

Education and Experience:

Education:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Information Systems

Required Experience:

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Effective time management

Preferred Experience

  • Hands-on experience with Alteryx, Tableau, or similar analytics tools
  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or automation concepts in a finance context

Program Highlights

  • Structured Learning: Hands-on training in a variety of financial disciplines and leadership development sessions.
  • Capstone Project: Each intern completes a capstone project presented to CFO-organization leadership at the end of the program.

Work Environment

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • On-site at Corporate Headquarters (hybrid flexibility may apply depending on assignment)
  • Duration: 8–10 weeks — exact start/end dates confirmed upon offer

Compensation:

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$31,384 - $47,076

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Export Statement:
Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of  Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
