Federal Solution Architect - AWS/Amazon Connect
Location: United States - We are fully remote!
Summary:
Thunder's Solution Architect is responsible for collaborating with our customers' technology and business stakeholders to develop a scalable Salesforce+Amazon architecture, vision and strategy that enables best-in-class business outcomes.
Our Solution Architects function as a liaison between client and the Thunder team, translating client requirements into the architecture for key client needs. The SA understands the scope of the project and validates the correct resources for the project, maps business functional requirements to system/technical requirements, and ensures alignment of planning and solutions with client’s business goals.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate previous consulting experience specifically in Service Cloud Voice and Amazon Connect, and will partner with a Technical Architect to comply with best practices related to solution design, documentation, and guidelines that lead to the identification, selection, development and use of solutions and applications. SA will also serve as a Subject Matter Expert, partnering with sales and business development teams in the process of client discovery and sales engineering, to accurately estimate the technical level of effort required for scope of work sold.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall Amazon Connect solution design and implementation
- Lead business and technology analysis and provide CRM domain expertise
- Lead client architecture initiatives from inception to completion, acting as a technical subject matter expert while providing expertise to business users and challenging point of views
- Partner with Sales team in the process of client discovery to accurately estimate the technical level of effort for scope of work sold
- Responsible for combined team project delivery success, producing documentation to aid in the understanding of existing architecture solutions
- Champion the adoption of reusable architecture assets to improve efficiency
- Own the overall execution of implementation deliverables and QA
Qualifications:
- US citizenship required, with ability and willingness to obtain security clearance(s).
- 4-6+ years consulting experience within the Salesforce Partner or AWS ecosystems, preferably within a large-scale Federal environment
- 2+ years of demonstrated track record of hands-on configuration of Amazon Connect
- Comfortable establishing credibility with key customer decision makers and influencers
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to assess customers’ business goals and formulate product and services solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes
- Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills, plus extraordinary listening skills
- Eagerness to contribute to overall team expertise, standards, methodologies and practices
- Practical exposure to Agile methodology, writing user stories, managing scrum calls, prioritizing backlog, and similar tasks
- Strong skills in data analysis and creating dashboards
- Highly Preferred Certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Service Cloud Voice Accreditation, AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Developer
- Preferred Salesforce Certifications: Advanced Administrator, Service Cloud Consultant
