Role Overview

The Sui Foundation is an independent organization dedicated to the advancement and adoption of the Sui network. The Sui Foundation supports the Sui community and their projects that enable individuals and creators to have unprecedented ownership over their data and content.
Sui is a first-of-its-kind Layer 1 blockchain and smart contract platform designed from the bottom up to make digital asset ownership fast, private, secure, and accessible to everyone. Based on the Move programming language, its object-centric model enables parallel execution, sub-second finality, and rich on-chain assets. With horizontally scalable processing and storage, Sui supports a wide range of applications with unrivaled speed at low cost. Sui is a step-function advancement in blockchain and a platform on which creators and developers can build amazing, user-friendly experiences.
We are seeking a high performing, creative, and hands-on Events Marketing Manager to oversee the planning and execution of Sui Foundation events worldwide.
A successful candidate will be an experienced event marketer that can develop strategic, audience-centric experiences that drive business impact. You must have knowledge of event production best practices, thrive on working on complex projects, strong cross-team collaboration abilities, and have the flexibility to work in a constantly changing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end planning and execution of events, including project plans and timelines, marketing and promotions, vendor management, budget management, and measurement.

  • Drive shared vision across teams and stakeholders, providing confident leadership to drive thought leadership and evangelize excellence in event marketing.

  • Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to identify event goals, target audiences and key messages, and business outcomes.

  • Conduct post-event evaluations to identify opportunities for growth.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in event planning and production, with strong experience in client-side event management

  • Strong project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong stakeholder management

  • Creative problem solving skills

  • Ability to execute remotely and work in a global and distributed environment

  • Flexibility and desire to travel frequently and work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays
