Entry Level Sales Associate

| Santa Monica

Who we are looking for

Someone to be apart of our growing inside sales team, driving growth through phone & email outreach in order to set up demo appointments for the Account Executive Team. Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:



  • Cold call and prospect decision maker/lead.

  • Research top florists nationwide to email/call relevant prospects.

  • Identify decision maker in shop.

  • Maintain active engagement and follow up with leads until they are qualified for demo.

  • Partner with our experienced Account Executives to help fill their sales pipeline.

  • Hit monthly quota goals for sourced and qualified leads.

  • Report directly to Sales Director.

  • Our Sales Growth Path offers an opportunity for promotion every 2-3 months with a raise and bonus at each promotion

  • If goals are met on time, Sales Associates can expect to earn ~$58k within their first year!

  • Earning potential is through the roof with an uncapped commission structure (you deserve it!).

  • The general growth path looks like this: Junior Associate » Associate » Senior Associate » Junior AE » AE » Senior AE » Enterprise AE with a very competitive commission, bonus, and raise incentive at each stage. With this Growth Path, all Sales Associates have the opportunity to become an Account Executive within their first year!

Imagine if McDonald's was your only option for ordering food online. Ridiculous as the scenario may sound, it's exactly how the online floral industry operates today. The overwhelming bulk of online floral transactions go through a small handful of major "wire services" (FTD, 1800Flowers, Teleflora, etc.) that rolled up the floral industry in the early days of the internet by offering a generic set of bouquets, regardless of which florist fulfills the order. The problems are numerous: designs are lowest common denominator, florists receive only a small portion of what you pay & so must fulfill your order using their cheapest or dying flowers, the wire service middleman reduces accountability, and what you order is often not what you receive.

Enter BloomNation. We're able to provide consumers more unique bouquets, better value for your money, and higher quality flowers by bringing local artisan florists online. The opportunity we're pursuing is very rare: a huge badly broken market and a solution for which the industry is clamoring. Our marketplace makes the experience better for both consumers and local florists. Finances aside, we make the world more unique & interesting while helping local businesses thrive.
