We have an immediate opening for a VP of Engineering, Product Experiences in our Silicon Valley location. In this role, you will have end-to-end ownership of all customer experiences in the areas of product discovery, signup & sign-in, checkout, and post-purchase engagement. You’ll own the transformation of on-premises web application runtimes to a set of modern cloud native domain based services that power clean micro front-ends and native mobile apps. You’ll advocate for cutting-edge technology, you’ll champion developer productivity and autonomy, you’ll lead by example, and, most importantly, you’ll help build a world-class engineering organization.

You will

• Enable, via best practices in software design & architecture, transformation of tech footprint from on-premises assets to core capabilities and modern applications that run on the public cloud
• Lead teams responsible for product discovery, Questionnaire (product configuration & on-boarding), signup & sign-in, checkout, and Dashboard (post purchase engagement)
• Enable robust and delightful self-serve for our Small Business, Consumer, and Intellectual Property customers in the areas of order status, order updates, amendments, and billing changes
• Partner very closely with Product Management & Design leaders to build product backlogs across teams, while maintaining healthy capacity for RTB (Run The Business), tech debt removal, and continuous re-factoring

Skills and Experience

• Passion for leading teams through transformations
• Organizational leadership, ability to inspire teams, grow leaders, and attract great talent
• Enjoys product and design ideation as much as they do building product
• Ability to be both player & coach: We’re looking for someone who is passionate about getting into the details and driving large technology initiatives while coaching and empowering teams to take ownership
• Experience in building and supporting B2B/B2C SaaS applications used at scale
• Deep expertise in building software platforms, specifically performance distributed systems, leveraging modern frameworks
• Well versed in modern cloud native technologies and frameworks
• Recent experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure. Hands on experience a bonus
