What You'll Do:

• Hands on testing
• Develop an accelerated durability test that can correlate to quantified real world life cycle damage
• Help identify bugs at both the software and hardware level
• Co-develop requirements and test cases for electrical and mechanical systems
• Design and perform test plans to ensure full vehicle software validation and real-world reliability/durabilityBe customer centric to understand our unique customer use profile and turn it into internal test standards
• Provide feedback to development team to improve design
• Develop tools and test setups to automate safety critical testing for rapid release schedules
• Evaluate field issues and propose solutions – Design, MFG process, supplier quality, operations

What You'll Need:

• Strong understanding of the creation of DVP&R and DFMEA documents
• Experience with execution of mechanical vibration/shock, component mating/unmating cycling, electrical high current/temperature rise, IP sealing, thermals shock, humidity, salt fog/mist, and EMC tests
• Knowledge of automotive industry standards such as SAE, ISO, UL, and GB/T
• Experience working with suppliers
• Proficient with basic Microsoft office tools (word, excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with vehicle Controller Area Network (CAN) communication interfaceFamiliarity with Vector CANoe / CANalyzer
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Design Verification/Process Validation testingAbility to think outside the box and find creative solutions.
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems and their interactions
• Able to travel domestically and internationally as required
• A creative curiosity, collaborative ethic, hardworking enthusiasm, and driving personal vision
• Excellent communication skills and team-working tendencies
• Multi-tasking and self-starting
