We are looking for a Design Technologist to join the Honey team and contribute to the evolving Honey product offering. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in shaping the direction and trajectory of a new product. You will be collaborating with a cross-disciplinary team (product managers, engineers, designers, QAs, analysts) in all phases of design from discovery to execution.

What You’ll Do: 

• Lead the next iteration of our UI toolkit 
• Add polish to our customer facing websites 
• Bridge the gap between our Designers and Software Engineers, and help ensure style guides are adhered to
• Create and maintain CSS libraries and JS component libraries
• CSS animations

About You:

• Master user interface programming skills including HTML, CSS, and cross-browser development, and basic Javascript
• Experience with CSS Animations and Transitions
• Work with the product design team to build and maintain UI components for Honey’s Design Systems (both website and mobile).
• Basic design foundation in both visual design (composition, layout, typography, brand expression) and interaction design (understanding user-centered design methodologies)
• Solid design-software proficiency (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• 3-4 years experience shipping products used by millions of consumers
• Entrepreneurial mindset and proactive approach
• Give a damn about every single pixel!

Bonus: 

• Animation, prototyping, 3D
• CSS Preprocessor experience (Sass, Less, etc)
• SVG animations
• Modern Javascript library (React, Angular, etc)
• WebGL experience
