RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of the UEM/MDM Engineer will include overseeing the design, buildout, and management of efficient, supportable, end-user compute environments for Windows, Mac, Linux & Mobile clients. You will be responsible for implementation, administration, and management of client environments that enhance corporate client computing to meet business requirements. You will design and administer UEM/MDM functionality for workstation systems including deployment configuration management, patching, updating.
KEY FUNCTIONS

Manages and drives end-to-end process design, improvements, automation and administration of the client engineering practice (e.g. Application Packaging/Deployment, Hardware Insertion, OS and Application Lifecycle Management, and Security frameworks)

Manages 10,000+ device environment using enterprise client management tools

Leads the transition of solutions from development to operations. Develops maintenance and automation scripts, implements monitoring strategies, implements continuity of operations strategies, defines metrics, defines service and operation level agreements, and writes support documentation. Trains application administrators and Service Desk personnel for ongoing operational maintenance of the production system

Develops adoption plans, including communications and training, for new software services

Documents existing system architecture and configuration and develops recommendations for evolving the system based on changing requirements

Evaluates new technologies and leads cross-organizational teams to analyze, select, implement, and integrate these technologies with existing IT services

Anticipates future IT service needs and investigates the potential of practical solutions.

Acts as a primary Aerospace technical contact with vendors for technical support. Identifies and analyzes technical support deficiencies and works closely with vendors to improve support.

Works closely with team to develop improved workstation management automation and reporting.

Provides subject matter expertise to train and assist application administrators with software installation and upgrades, system enhancements, integration, and troubleshooting

Participates in engineering architectural strategy, including technology standardization and modernization

Acts as an ambassador and change agent to build a culture of continuous improvement

Develops strategies to mitigate end-user issues at an enterprise level
REQUIRED II:
-
Typically requires 3 years experience with a Bachelor’s degree

Secret clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one
-
Experience documenting and analyzing business processes
-
Experience managing multi-platform MDM solutions (SCCM, Intune, Workspace One, JAMF, Ivanti or similar)
-
Enterprise scale device management including Windows, macOS, iOS
-

REQUIRED III:

Experience managing multi-platform MDM solutions (SCCM, Intune, Workspace One, JAMF, Ivanti or similar)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS-
1 or more years of relevant experience with Master’s Degree

Linux/Puppet endpoint management

TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENTS-
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

Ability to use a computer to complete activities.

Ability to communicate with individuals and groups in person, by phone and telepresence.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will typically work in an office environment.
