We are currently searching for a strong Systems Reliability Engineer (SRE) that is skilled in Windows as well as non-Windows based platforms.  This is a full-time position (W2 employee) and you will have the opportunity to work at a very notable and respectful entertainment company. This role will be part of a Production Technology Operations team, focused on supporting the AWS infrastructure for our client and those business functions that support the Productions (movie-making). Any experience in the Media/Entertainment industry would also be a big plus.

Job Requirements:

* Experience as a SRE or in a DevOps role (minimum 3-4 years)

* Must have a strong Windows-based background to support Development teams that have several applications utilizing the Microsoft tech stack

* Prior experience working with and setting up cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS or Azure is required (minimum 3-4 years). Certification is a plus

* Experience in build and/or supporting release pipelines with tools like Jenkins and/or GitLab CI

* Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or other IaaS solutions strongly preferred

* Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Chef or Ansible is required

* Thorough understanding of containerization platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, etc. is required.

* Experience working on Infrastructure projects such as data center migrations, server upgrades, network upgrades, etc. required

* Ability to work independently, without much supervision, and ensure project goals are met

* Prior experience consulting is strongly desired

* Prior experience working in media/entertainment preferred

* Excellent communication skills – written and oral
