We are remote first company. This position is fully remote, as long as you reside in the United States. Please note, we are not approved to hire with visa sponsorship requirements.

Flowspace is seeking Software Engineers that have amazing developer skills, possess solid teamwork skills and are able to function independently, while planning ahead for themselves and their team. We are hiring year-round for Engineers of all levels, and welcome your application if you have at least a minimum of 2 years, and above. We are considering all levels of experience to staff across all of our teams and projects.

* For engineer applicants that have 2-4 years of experience, we require Ruby on Rails experience.

* The ideal engineer has experience working on SaaS applications with React on the front end and Ruby on Rails on the back end. They are responsible for building, testing, debugging and maintaining code while working closely with the product and engineering teams to develop solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Write and ship code daily.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Management team to scope work that is consumable by the team
• Work the across the team (junior and senior level engineers) to support all projects to successfully get the job done
• Provide and encourage creative solutions, writes tests, and contributes directly to our core product
• Research and encourage top industry trends and best practices
• Be ahead of the game with ideas and innovated solutions. Flowspace is focused on creating clean, beautiful software in a market dominated by outdated enterprise solutions.

Who We're Looking For:

• Our 2-4 years experienced engineers will require solid skills with Ruby on Rails (outside of internships and/or school project work)
• Experience with full-stack, web application development experience.
• Experience working on SaaS applications with React on the front end
• Responsible for building, testing, debugging and maintaining code
• Experience in building software with a product-first approach.

• Circle CI for continuous integration and deployment







Here are other technologies that we use that would be helpful for critical and effective troubleshooting. They are not used every day (and necessarily required for all applicants) but can be very helpful.

Bonus Points:

• Logistics experience in similar industry (B2B / warehousing / e-commerce)
• Experience with test-driven development and automated testing
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development

Other Helpful Things To Know:

• Light travel may be required to attend team gatherings, team building and/or annual Flowspace conferences
• Must be able to effectively work in a remote environment, using a variety of virtual tools / technology (i.e. Zoom, Slack, etc.)
