We provide a fleet of electric, shared scooters that can be accessed via smartphone. Bird is headquartered in Venice, California and is rapidly expanding across the country and the world.

We are looking for an experienced, adaptable and technical individual to join our team as Senior IT Administrator. You should have years of experience as an IT professional administering and architecting innovative solutions to business needs in a corporate environment. You feel comfortable managing an 80/20 Mac/Windows environment, have a firm understanding of Mac integration to an SSO infrastructure, implement automation or management solutions to manage the IT infrastructure, and provide training to the IT team and to internal customers.

What You'll Do

  • Acting as Senior point of contact for IT related issues in a macOS and Microsoft Windows environment
  • Provide 3rd Tier technical assistance and support to end users
  • New Hire setups, including computer build, desk setups and trainings
  • Administration and maintenance of Active Directory, SSO (Okta) , AWS
  • Configuring and deploying Windows 7-10 and macOS
  • Network management, IPSec tunnels
  • VoIP phone management
  • Conference room A/V presentation systems
  • Creation and management of Desktop Configuration Profiles in MDM (Jamf)
  • Communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users up to C-level
  • Training other IT professionals in IT-related matters
  • Manage Productivity Apps (G-Suite, Slack, O365)
  • Printer and copier maintenance and support

What You'll Need

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Embody and be an evangelist for exceptional customer service
  • Excellent troubleshooting experience
  • Experience in a ticketing system
  • Supporting Creative Office
  • Independent thinker, ability to self-manage smaller tasks in a larger project
  • Ability to analyze as-is business processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Comfortable managing and administering macOS and Windows 7-10
  • Strong experience as an IT professional and Tech Evangelist
  • Deep understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting
  • Basic understanding of VoIP telephony solutions

Preferences

  • Previous experience with Mobile Device Management(MDM)
  • Previous experience with IT Asset Management(ITAM)
  • Experience configuring JAMF Casper Suite (client management framework)
  • Technical documentation writing
  • Prior experience setting up an office from barebones
  • Animation experience
  • Experience with BASH, PowerShell, Python or other scripting language
  • Experience with iOS and Android mobile devices
  • Policy and procedure development and improvement
  • IT certifications and/or training are preferred but not required
  • 3+ years of experience in a help desk environment preferred
  • Experience managing Office 365
