The Sr. Quality Assurance Manager will provide supervision and technical guidance to the QA team in the analysis, design, testing and deployment of all EZ Texting products. The Sr. Quality Assurance Manager maintains ultimate responsibility for ensuring that all products are defect free and compliant with feature and technical requirements.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, able to drive tasks to completion independently, and able to learn new skills on the job as project requirements expand. This candidate should possess a technical understanding of QA technologies, be highly results driven with a sense of urgency and have a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
Manage and scale a globally distributed team of QA engineers
Develop and maintain quality assurance metrics and reports
Communicating QA status and updates to leadership team
Continuously review and improve both manual and automated testing processes
Drive effort to define and automate performance and load testing for each product with the goal of detecting scaling regressions prior to deployment
Required Skills:
Proven ability to hire, lead, and mentor a global team of technical resources
5 years as a Senior or Lead QA Manager
Knowledge of software architectures such as Microservices & Service-Oriented Architecture
Experience with agile software development methodologies like Kanban or Scrum
Strong analytical and reasoning abilities to drive operational metrics and capacity planning
Great verbal and written communication skills
