CAREER OPPORTUNITY: We’re looking for a Senior Front-End Engineering Manager to lead our Front-End Engineering team and help shape and drive our User Interface technology and architectural direction. Your team owns and drives the Front-End development across all OnPoint product suites.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

-You will grow and lead our front-end engineering team and help the members of your team grow both technically and professionally

-Software Engineering Manager will work with the talent acquisition team to attract and retain high quality and diverse front-end engineers

- Help mold and drive our overall product architecture from a front-end perspective in collaboration with other parts of our technology stack

- Strong Engineering leadership presence resulting in the ability to foster cross-functional partnerships and drive strong organization results

-Software Engineering Manager will partner with our Design and Product teams to help forge a strong design and user experience driven culture

-You will have visibility, influence and impact across all of OnPoint’s engineering teams and product areas

-Software Engineering Manager will identify opportunities to bring modern front-end frameworks to OnPoint to improve overall engineering productivity

-This is a hands-on Engineering role. You’ll be leading by example by helping other Engineers with their projects. While you are not expected to take on any critical path projects, you will help your team with the development of theirs.

 WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

-Software Engineering Manager has managed a team of 5+ engineers across multiple office locations

-You have experience hiring and mentoring Front-end Engineers (JavaScript / WordPress)

-Recent relevant Engineering experience including familiarity with latest Front-End Technologies such as React, Redux, Angular, Vanilla JavaScript and various instrumentation tools that help measure and improve front end performance

- Software Engineering Manager can thrive and lead multiple highly cross functional projects at any time

- You are naturally inclined to take initiative and help make an impact on the larger organization

- Software Engineer Manager doesn’t just see challenges, sees opportunities to own and drive a solution

- You have solid organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule
