Seeking a Full Stack Engineer with 5+ years experience to join the founding team of an early-stage startup building a feel-good audio social network.

About the role

As a Sr. Full Stack engineer, you will play a key role in growing our product team. You will be responsible for building and delivering applications of the highest quality in an agile environment, and drive best engineering practices that will inspire the team as it grows. One day you will work on the backend and the next tackle the front. It is the early days, so you'll have a big impact on the direction our technology goes in and a lot of influence.

What you'll need

• You have 5+ years of experience with application architecture and development using full-stack JavaScript (react & node) with UI emphasis
• You have JS tooling, frontend architecture, and some backend AWS experience
• You're proficient in database operations (SQL, NoSQL, Redis)
• You have experience working with complex microservice frameworks
• You understand testing strategies for mobile development (TDD, BDD, UI testing, etc)
• You have a good understanding of SOLID principles and Clean architecture.
• Care about quality and know what it means to ship high quality code.
• You ship on time and are able to accurately estimate how long development will take.
• Experience using GIT, continuous integration, build distribution/management.
• Experience using ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes/K8s a bonus!
