This role is responsible for the Infrastructure and Developer productivity team at Dave. 

- Build highly scalable, performant, and secured infrastructure to provide highly trust Banking service to our customers. 

- Empower engineers and product teams to deliver high quality service productively.

Key Responsibilities

• Management and team building:
• Build SRE and Eng productivity teams. 
• Scale the group through a period of rapid company growth by attracting, hiring, mentoring, retaining top-tier talent, and managing performance. 
• Build and hire a diverse team - fostering a collaborative and an inclusive environmentMotivate, mentor, teach, and guide others as we strive to develop successful independent teams that solve problems efficiently and move fast with high quality.




• Partnership and collaboration:
• Partner with Engineering, Data, Security to build highly scalable, performant, and secured infrastructure and provide highly trust Banking service to our customers. 




• Deliveries:
• Deliver OverDraft 2.0 and future financial products. Deliver high performance, scalable, and secured financial products and services.
• Drive the technology vision and roadmap for the group.
• Deliver architecture transformation.
• Organize and plan projects from start to finish. 
• Build positive, trusting relationships through consistent, on-time delivery of commitments and effective communication.

Experience Required

• 12+ years of infrastructure and engineering experience 
• 3+ years leading and managing engineering teams in a fast-paced environment
• Experience scaling teams past 10+.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Successful track record growing teams including hiring, coaching, and grooming future leaders
• Experience with architecture transformation from monolithic to microservices, SOA, or equivalent
• Excellence in problem-solving, strategic thinking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams

Preferred Experience

• Fintech experiences like payment, banking, and credit are optional, but a big plus.
