Sr. Android Engineer
At GoodRx, we believe that all Americans should have access to convenient and affordable healthcare. As a nation, we spend about $3.5 trillion annually on our healthcare, but too many Americans struggle to get the care they need, and prices just keep rising. Our marketplaces for prescription medicines and telehealth have helped Americans save more than $20 billion since 2011. GoodRx is a profitable business funded by top-tier investors; we're based in Santa Monica with additional offices around the country. We're a low-key and tight-knit group that likes to find new ways to fix big problems. If you share our belief that you can do well by doing good, let's talk.
We are looking for experienced developers who are eager to build new products and features – pushing the limits of our mobile applications while also ensuring that they are creating a great user experience for the user. You have strong experience developing user interfaces for applications on Android and know the Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
As our Android Developer, you will work closely with the rest of our design, product, data, and mobile team to turn ideas into tangible user experiences – turning wireframes into high quality, reusable, and beautiful Android code. We want you to own everything Android and come up with solutions to each challenging problem independently. You will be required to identify, analyze, and correct issues such as bottlenecks, bugs, dependency problems, memory leaks and help maintain high stable code quality, organization, and automatization. Our ideal candidate should have developed several native Android applications with complex functionality and significant user bases. Bonus points if you have worked with Kotlin, RxJava, RxAndroid, Retrofit, Dagger, or MVVM.
