What You’ll Do

The Intermediate Software Quality Assurance Analysts role is to analyze and test software (cloud and/or in-house) to ensure that products meet design specifications and standards. Design test plans, scenarios, scripts and procedures based on business requirements. Test any new software to ensure functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specifications are adhered to. Contribute to standards and procedures for measuring product quality and release readiness. Create, maintain, and execute manual/exploratory test cases, and clearly document software defects. Identify and execute automation for common test cases. Review and provide feedback on product feature requirements. Specifically, you will:

 

  1. Develop quality assurance measures for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their development/product lifecycles.
  2. Create an end-to-end test plan; executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met, and that the solution works as expected and that the system complies with government regulations and ordinances. The solution should be tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other legacy- and/or external systems.
  3. Ensure integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specifications.
  4. Gather and analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements.
  5. Track defects and fixes in product development, software application, development, information systems, and operations systems
  6. Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
  7. Participate in developing, distributing, and coordinating in-depth end-user reviews for modified and new systems or applications.
  8. Conduct internal audits to measure and assure adherence to established QA standards for software development, application integration, and information system performance, and corresponding documentation.

 

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 2-4 years of work-related experience preferred
  • 2+ years in real estate lending or software development
  • Proven problem-solving skills and creative strategic-thinking skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent time-management skills and punctuality
  • Ability to effectively prioritize daily workload in order of urgency to the business
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
  • Ability to work effectively and professionally with internal and external partners, including clients, vendors, and other agency partners
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

 

Additional Information

  • This is a nonexempt position
  • This position reports directly into the Director of QA
